This section may answer some of your questions before you even realised you should ask the question! Feel free to read through and learn more about the nature of our business!
We will warm up with some Widley known facts and safety instructions for inflatables working our way up to the least known facts in the next few sections.
Here are a range of facts, safety tips and also general information about inflatables.
- Did you know Bouncy castles can be hired for indoor and outdoor use? This does depend on a few things like weather/surface conditions and the type of inflatable, but generally speaking, most inflatables can be enjoyed inside our outside!
- Bouncy Castles have to be secured to the ground in outdoor use by law, and most manufacturers will instruct to use sandbags to stabilise castles indoors. The UK laws and regulations for the inflatable industry does make it very hard for hirers to hire inflatables for outdoor hardstanding use. By law every anchor point on an inflatable must be weighted with 163kg sand or ballast (a 12x15castle has 6 anchor points) which makes this nearly impossible for hirers to comply with, meaning most hirers will not fit a castle to a outdoor hard standing such as a patio, driveway, carpark, gravel area and so on.
- Although generators can be hired, generally speaking you shouldn't have to do this, we can supply extension leads up to 50 metres. Generators are usually hired for set up areas without power close by for example a public field for a fun day, or perhaps a school fate on the school field.
