What times to book for delivery and collection
This page contains some very important information about set up and packing away times. Please remember we are only human and can only work at a human speed (no teleporting unfortunately) We need set up time AND pack away time with every booking. A general guide is the more items you book, the longer we will need to set up and pack away. We are not responsible for any late/curfew fees or any other charges relating to not booking enough time to allow us to set up and pack away.
Please remember to book enough time to set up your party so that we are finished setting up and have left the venue site before your event guests arrive. For health and safety reasons, please keep any children away from the set up area and equipment until we have signed the equipment over to you for the duration of your hire.
Specific times for Hired Halls or Community centres or other function rooms
We ask every booking in a hired room such as a Village hall, Community centre or other paid function room to select a 'specific delivery and collection time' for +£7.50
The reason for this is that we cannot create the most time and fuel efficient route for all of our deliveries and collections for the day as we are governed by the set times of the different time slots in all the booked rooms. This can sometimes be the difference between one van doing a large run, or multiple vans doing smaller runs, one van and a large run is better for the environment and also better for us as a business! If a 'Specific delivery' or 'Specific collection' time is selected, this is a guaranteed time we will arrive for.
Always make sure to tell us the correct start and finish times of your event in the booking form, as well as the times you have the hired room from and until, and let us know if anything changes. We will base our arrival times around the times of your event and the products you have hired, you can have full faith that your items will be set up and packed away all in good time for the start of your event up on delivery and the curfew of the hired room on collection.
For bookings that don't select a specific delivery time, their chosen items will be delivered any time between 6.30am and 11am and collected any time between 5pm and 9pm. This is recommended for gardens without restricted access so we can come along at any time in our schedule and deliver your items. If these times suit your hired hall booking, please feel free to select an 'any time before' delivery or an 'any time after' collection.
Please be aware that every hall/room/centre is different and all have their own rules and charges. We are not responsible for you receiving any fines or charges from the hall if you exceed your time limit. Please also note, if our items become inaccessible you are liable for a charge from us.

These times are based from our van being parked outside the entrance doors (not halfway down the street or other end of a busy carpark!) and a relatively short distance from the entrance to the set up area.
We typically make lots of trips back and forth from the van to the set up area, carrying various things. This means that the further we have to walk, the longer the set up and pack away time needed! Steps or a access ramps with multiple levels can also slow us down.

Full Party Package: Set up 2 hours - Pack away 90 mins
Large Party Package: Set up 1 hour - Pack away 1 hour
Medium Party Package: Set up 45 mins - Pack away 1 hour
Small Party Package: Set up 40 mins - Pack away 50 mins
